About Me

Michelle E. Roley-Roberts, PhD

Assistant Professor | Licensed Clinical Psychologist

My clinical training has shaped me into a culturally-competent and well-rounded clinician. I take a scientist-practitioner approach to my research, evaluating the whole individual within their cultural context. Above all, I am committed to helping students develop the skills needed to advance their careers in the service of others. Toward this goal, I bring experience working on interprofessional teams, treating individuals and families across a diverse socioeconomic spectrum, and a deep understanding of a wide variety of research and statistical methodologies. My federally- and foundation-funded research has led to 10 articles in peer reviewed journals, and more than 75 conference and community presentations, disseminating my collaborative work to other like-minded scientist-practitioners.
